If 2020 has demonstrated anything (besides the fact that we’re never giving up stretchy pants), it’s that the way we live is forever changed. And the flow of real estate trends is proving no different.

Families are in their homes all. the. time. And while some are busy fixing up their spaces, many are looking around and saying to themselves, “Self, I want to live somewhere else.” Because frankly, no matter how many times you move a couch, you can’t renovate or update spaces that your home currently doesn’t have.

Typically, as we head into the winter months, the pool of buyers decreases as everyone becomes more focused on planning getaways and visiting loved ones. But this year…well it’s completely different because literally no one is going literally nowhere.

The buying market shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, many buyers plan to use the time off during the holidays to go house hunting. And, truly there’s no reason not to. Interest rates are at an all-time low. Which translates into more house for less money.
